Dear faculty members--
All faculty members who research or teach on AANAPISI-themed* topics are invited to join Dr. Faye Caronan and the CFDA for a special event. Faculty will be invited to share two-minute lightning talks their research or teaching, with goals of finding potential collaborations, planning mutual support, and raising awareness of their work. Faculty who do not currently research or teach on AANAPISI-themed topics but who wish to learn more are welcome to join as well.
*AANAPISI refers to Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander-Serving Institutions
We will offer snacks and beverages. Details to follow!
Activities:
- Welcome Message: Greeting from Dr. Faye Caronan
- Lightning Talks: Faculty who are engaged in AANAPISI-themed research or teaching are encouraged to speak about their work for two minutes.
- Networking Time: Discuss potential supports & collaborations with colleagues.
- Closing Remarks: Brainstorm outcomes of the event & plan for potential future gatherings.
