CU Denver Faculty Training and Events

Welcome to the CFDA's Associate to Full Professor Community of Practice! This group supports tenured associate professors who are intentionally working toward promotion to "full" professor rank. Faculty members who participate in the Associate to Full Professor mentoring program are encouraged to attend these Community of Practice meetings as well.

Tenured associate professors are welcome to join the program at any point in their path toward promotion.

At the meetings, we typically:

• Discuss the questions and challenges we're facing.
• Support each other, in ways such as offering to provide feedback on each other's dossier statements.
• Ask Faculty Fellow Professor Sarah Hagelin for advice.
• Build community that crosses the boundaries of departments, schools, and colleges.
