To encourage faculty to work on academic and other meaningful projects, we will start a bi-monthly writing group.  This writing group can help with people who need accountability to stay productive or prefer writing in a group rather than alone.  Approximately every two weeks, faculty will be invited to meet in one of the conference rooms at Briargate.  Faculty should bring their laptops.  Coffee and Tea are available in the staff lounge.  The Colorado Springs Department of Pediatrics will provide light snacks.  Dr. Ziniel, one of the Center for Faculty Development and Advancement’s Faculty Writing Fellows, will be present for the writing block to provide consults, writing support and encouragement.  This project will start with a 3-month trial and will continue if there is consistent participation.
