Using Student Feedback to Deepen and Document Quality Teaching

This course is part of the TIPS Course Development Institute (CDI) and is one of a series of courses to be offered on Learner-Centered Pedagogy. It will combine self-paced Canvas learning with opportunities for synchronous discussion on Zoom.
The focus of this course is on using student feedback to deepen and document your development and success as a teacher. We will discuss a various ways to increase formative student feedback opportunities in your teaching as well as tips on making the most of end-of-semester student feedback (FCQs). This short course is for you if you are an instructor interested in exploring how to extend or refine your use of student feedback to achieve a variety of goals including: to improve teaching and learning, to improve the class climate/student sense of belonging and wellbeing, to inform your course design or curriculum planning, and/or to better document your growth as a teacher.
